French Riviera is an art gallery in Bethnal Green, east London, founded in 2011 by artists Samuel Levack and Jennifer Lewandowski. It runs a critically regarded exhibition programme focusing on UK-based and international artists who have not shown widely in London before. Solo exhibitions at French Riviera include Lisa Brice, Thomas Dozol, Tom Ellis, Fabienne Hess, Siân Hislop, Cary Loren, Nicholas Pankhurst, Lyle Perkins, Lucy Woodhouse.
French Riviera also runs a public programme aimed at encouraging greater community cohesion in this creative and multicultural neighbourhood at the heart of the East End of London, including educational visits, events, symposiums and talks.
Levack and Lewandowski have their own collaborative art practice, working in film, installation, music, performance and poetry, which they run in parallel with French Riviera from their studio in the same building as the gallery space.
