Countdown to Henley Festival
Posted on Dec 16, 2016
Henley Festival 2017 will see several changes made which will improve our offering to festival attendees and the charities we support. Below we take a closer look at these changes and when we will announce the Programme for 2017’s event.
Following feedback from attendees this year, we’ll be reducing the capacity of the festival to 2015 levels. This will make for a more comfortable experience for those at the event and reduce the likelihood of pinch-points which can occur during certain busy periods.
Henley Festival is a not for profit event with money from every ticket sale, membership, sponsorship and donation - plus all profits generated - given to local and national good causes.
In 2017 ticket prices will be slightly increased to ensure that we can continue to stage the festival, help our charity partners and account for the reduction in capacity.
Over the following months we will be showcasing more about how your generous support and attendance of Henley Festival has made a difference. Find out how Henley Festival has helped The Children’s Society for example.
We are finalising the lineup for the 2017 Festival, and will be announcing the full programme in the New Year. Rest assured you will be treated to a variety chart-topping musicians from today and yesteryear, big-name comedy acts and an exciting array of art, culture and dining experiences.
