Programme Launch Party
Posted on Feb 10, 2017
Here we are! It has been the week of the big reveal and the beginning of ticket sales – woohoo! and we’d like to thank two venues, Stonor Park and The Harcourt, for hosting our two successful Launch events in both Henley and London.
Our first event was held at the picturesque Stonor Park, and despite the wet and cold weather, we had an incredible amount of attendees from our including patrons, platinum and gold friends of the Festival and the local press. We were also joined by Volvo, who are our art partner this year who brought down a fabulous car with dual branding. Our CEO Charlotte Geeves and our Artistic Director Stewart Collins said a few words thanking those for the continued support we receive year on year and then revealed our fantastic programme, featuring the headline floating stage artists: The Petshop Boys, Jess Glynne, Chakka Khan, Goldie & The Heritage Orchestra and All Saints.
Speeches were also made by The Children’s Society Chief Executive, Matthew Reed and a member of the Young Trustees, Robert who told his story as a young carer and how the support from partnerships have helped charities like the Children Society to provide vital support for those who need it most.
Our second event, was a London Press Launch, kindly hosted by The Harcourt, went brilliantly as we were joined of an assortment of multimedia press to cover the release of our programme announcement.
Thanks to everyone who attended our Launch events this week, with a special thanks to Stonor Park, The Harcourt, Volvo and our partners The Children Society.
