The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust was set up in 1997 in memory of Charlie Waller, a young man who took his own life whilst suffering from depression. In aid of educating young people in the importance of staying mentally well, Charlie's family set up The Charlie Waller Trust. The Trust aims to help people recognise the signs of depression, equip people to look after their mental well-being and ensure expert help is available when needed.
The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust envisions a world where people understand and talk openly about depression, where young people know how to maintain well-being, and where the most appropriate treatment is available to everyone who needs it.
The support of the Henley Festival will help to make this vision a reality.
