Tommy Gurr

Jazz Garden Gallery

Influenced by contemporary and urban art, combining his interest of unusual canvas and innovative media, Tommy brings striking new original exciting pieces to the gallery environment.

‘I have been producing my most recent work on genuine disused signage to give something rusty, aged or even bullet ridden a new lease of life. A used sign to me is a unique canvas, sometimes with years of wear, tear and imperfections, each one tells a story of its own…I love how no piece can be exactly replicated, no two can ever be the same.’
