Will Young won the inaugural series of Pop Idol at the age of just 22, which shot him to national fame and to the top of the charts. Seven albums and two Brit Awards followed, with hits such as Leave Right Now, Jealousy and more recently All The Songs and Ground Running. An acting career blossomed concurrently, with roles on stage and screen and presenting gigs on TV and radio. Following the successful release of Lexicon, last summer, this summer was meant to be full of festival performances, however due to Covid-19 all that is now understandably on hold. “It’s a pleasure to be able to do these home filmed shows for Henley, a place I’ve performed in and loved. I grew up not too far from there, so it is almost a virtual home-town show.”
