6-10th JULY 2022
Henley Festival

Our COVID-Safe Plans

Just like many other festivals and events, Henley Festival will ask all ticket holders aged 12 and over to demonstrate their COVID-19 Status before entering the festival by providing either:

  • Proof of full vaccination – both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to the festival) or
  • Proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken prior to travel on the day of arrival at the festival or
  • Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).

You can show your vaccination status easily via the NHS COVID Pass on the NHS App, more information on how to do this can be found here. We recommend that you screenshot or download a copy of your NHS COVID Pass prior to arrival so that you have it ready to show at the entry gates. Alternatively, you can show a printed copy which will be quick and easy and this may be quicker at the Festival entrance.

If you don’t have access to a smartphone or computer, then you can call 119 to request a letter to demonstrate your vaccination status or apply for it online. Please note that the letter can take up to 5 working days to reach you. This letter will be sent to the address registered with your GP. More information on how to request a letter can be found here.

If you cannot access your NHS COVID Pass, you do not receive a vaccination status letter in time or you haven’t been vaccinated, you will need to provide evidence of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test, by reporting the result to the NHS here and presenting your NHS email or text notification at the entry gates.

For your safety and the safety of others we request that face masks be worn in congested areas or indoors until seated.

We would like to assure our audience that your safety is our utmost priority and will be following all Government Advice and risk-level changes at the time of the event. Wherever possible we will be reviewing all restrictions in line with Government Guidelines to be able to safely stage the closest version of the Henley Festival we all know and love. Should we need to implement additional COVID safety measure we will work closely with HRR, Wokingham Council, Public Health England and the Police to develop our COVID-safe plans in order for everyone to safely enjoy their time at Henley Festival.

We would like to thank our audience in advance for complying with our new rules upon entry, this allows every ticket holder to enjoy their time at the festival safely. See other festivals statements below.
