Good Year For The Roses (And Henley Festival)

And it just keeps getting better! As legendary rock n roller Elvis Costello took to the Floating Stage, it was clear from the off that his performance was going to go down in Henley Festival history! An electrifying show packed with his best and most-loved songs and we couldn’t get enough. On stage with an array of guitars stacked up behind him and a loud-hailer emblazoned with ELVIS across it only proved that his ranking as one of the world’s greatest artists of all time isn’t fading any time soon.

We were treated to a fantastic performance by Jose Feliciano at Pizza Express Live @ The Top, made even better by a guest appearance from a super special guest – Will Young, playing ahead of his headline show on the Floating Stage on Sunday. Digital cabaret performances from Jenna Lee were equally as breath-taking later in the evening.

We were very lucky to be in the presence of star comedians Hal Cruttenden, Reginald D. Hunter and Jess Robinson from early evening, with nods being given to the dicky bows and posh toilets – all with an added touch of irony!

We can’t wait for more tonight…
