Henley Festival 2020 Box Office Top Tips on getting ahead of the game and preparing to make your booking experience an easy one

Thinking of coming to Henley Festival 2020? Great! Follow our Box Office handy top tips to ensure your booking process is a smooth and pain free one!

  1. Sign up to our Mailing List!

To be in the know for the 2020 line-up announcements, on sale dates, competitions and festival news you will need to be signed up to our mailing list. Our Marketing Department will keep you up to date with exciting festival updates right up to and including festival week! Please ensure all your privacy settings are up to date so you don’t miss any important emails from us.

  1. Have you registered in advance for an online account?

No? You will need this if you are booking your Henley Festival 2020 tickets through our website. If you haven’t…it’s simple! All you’ll need to set up your online account with your email address, a password and your address. Again, please ensure you have updated your privacy settings to guarantee you don’t miss out on anything from us!

  1. Have an account with us already?

Yes! Perfect, you’re already one step ahead! Please double check your account details are up to date, don’t wait until you’re trying to book tickets! All you have to do is click here, sign in on the right hand side, click ‘Your Details’. If they need updating simply click ‘Edit your Details’, make your amendments and when you’re done click ‘Update Details’. If you’ve forgotten your password – don’t worry, it’s easy to reset it, simply follow the forgotten password link and follow the instructions sent to your email address linked to your account – don’t forget to check your spam folder too.

You are now registered to book your festival tickets online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! How easy was that!

  1. Are you unsure which Friend Membership level you have for 2020 and don’t know which date you can book from?

View your records by clicking here, sign in on the right hand side, click ‘Your Details’. Scroll to the bottom of the page to ‘Membership Status’, this will tell you which membership level you currently have and the date you can book from is listed below. If it states, ‘You are not a member of Henley Festival’, this means you do not have a membership with us and will be able to buy tickets with the General Public from the date stated below.

Make a note of the booking date that applies to you:

Wednesday 29th January – Patrons, Sponsors & Corporate Members

Friday 31st January – Platinum Friends

Saturday 1st February – Gold Friends

Monday 3rd February – Silver Friends

Tuesday 4th February – Bronze Friends

Thursday 6th February – General Public

  1. Renew or Become a Friend of the Festival to receive exclusive benefits including priority booking?

If you want to renew a Friends Membership for 2020, find out more about becoming a Friend or even buy a Friends Membership, you can do so online here. By becoming a Friend of the Festival you will be entitled to purchase your tickets before the General Public. Friends memberships entitle you to a drinks discount card where during our friends happy hour you will be able to purchase drinks at a discounted price.   1. Are you booking tickets for guests under the age of 18?

We offer an Under 18 ticket for our younger Henley Festival guests. Age limits for this ticket type are 14 – 17 yrs on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 12 – 17 yrs on Saturday and Sunday. Be sure to know when booking if you have guests Under 18 joining you! FYI, we will be operating a Challenge 25 policy, find out more here.

  1. Planning for the summer?

Don’t forget to double check your holiday dates and any special events that could clash during festival week! Remember, Henley Festival 2020 is from Wednesday 8th July to Sunday 12th July. As in our Terms and Conditions, we do not offer refunds on tickets that are booked in error. Be sure to only book tickets that you can use!

  1. Want to book a dining reservation, moor a boat or park your car?

We have several very popular ‘additions’ available to book alongside your festival tickets:

  • Pre-Bookable Restaurants (The Riverside, St James, The Terrace & Riverside Canteen)
  • Car Park Passes
  • Moorings

All ‘additions’ are subject to availability. To help avoid disappointment, it is highly advisable to book these at the same time as your tickets. Restaurants, Car Park passes and Moorings can not be purchased online alone. To add these to tickets you have already purchased you must call the Box Office on 01491 843 404 for their assistance (Monday-Friday 10-5pm).

There’s so much to experience at the Festival it’s worth being ready to go when the gates open at 5pm.


You can never be overdressed at Henley!



Head to the Moet Champagne lawn for a glass of fizz and an amazing view of the river.


All our non-bookable restaurants are open throughout the evening and are less busy during the floating stage concert.



The Festival has a black tie dress code.


The car park opens at 4pm, Festival gates open at 5pm.


Wristbands will be given out at the Festival gates upon presentation of a valid ticket.
