Amuse Manouche

7:15 pm on Wednesday 10th July 2024

The Bedouin

Inspired by jazz greats such as Django Reinhardt and Ella Fitzgerald, Brighton-based gypsy swing band Amuse Manouche’s hot club sound comes from a combination of lightning-fast guitar riffs, pulse-racing rhythm, soaring vocals, and a passion for the songbooks of the 1920s and 30s.

Brought together by a shared love of gypsy jazz, the members of Amuse Manouche have played with notable players such as Lulu Reinhardt, Sebastien Giniaux, Mathieu Chatelain, Remi Harris, Rino Van Hooijdonk, Kourosh Kanani and Matt Holborn (London Django Collective) to name a few, and have performed at a wide range of festivals including Love Supreme, Brighton Fringe, Swanage Jazz Festival, Vintage Escape Festival, and Shrewsbury Django Fest.
