SUPPORT US

There are many ways in which you can support Henley Festival, to allow us to continue staging the event and support our charity partners.

OUR CHARITY

We want to support imaginative people to nurture exciting ideas, widen access and participation in the arts, improve people’s education and learning through the arts, and show that the arts makes a difference to people’s lives.

In 2019 Henley Festival worked in partnership with The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust and The Teenage Wilderness Trust.

The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust was set up in 1997 in memory of Charlie Waller, a young man who took his own life whilst suffering from depression. In aid of educating young people in the importance of staying mentally well, Charlie's family set up The Charlie Waller Trust. The Trust aims to help people recognise the signs of depression, equip people to look after their mental well-being and ensure expert help is available when needed.

The Teenage Wilderness Trust was set up by Matt Bailey in 2011 to support students who find it difficult to engage with mainstream education. Often these students are unable to cope emotionally and physically with conventional education or authority due to their personal lives and social development. Having never received care and attention that children are entitled to, many of the students feel let down, angry and confused. The Trust's aim is to calm students, allow them to regain their self-esteem and then reignite the desire to learn.

Henley Festival also continues to deliver daytime concerts to the Over 60's Club and Chiltern Court in Henley and this year we will also be performing at Sue Ryder in Nettlebed.
