Holly Bendall

Holly Bendall is a young and ambitious sculptor from Cornwall, whose passion for public art that inspires change is making waves. Her masterpiece, “Waiting for Fish” AKA Dave & Bird, supported by Greenpeace, addresses the impact of over-fishing and highlights the role of small-scale fishing in local communities.

Unveiled by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall in Porthleven on 23rd September 2022, this permanent installation is a testament to Holly’s unique perspective. As a young female artist in the rare world of bronze sculptures, Holly’s journey from an exciting sports and outdoor background adds a dynamic touch to her creations, creating a rare and impactful blend of art and activism.
