Louise Parker

10:45 pm on Wednesday 10th July 2024

RISE Emerging Talent Stage Presented by Westcoast

Louise Parker is a modern country pop singer from Chelmsford, Essex. Her early career saw the release of two EPs: Robin Hood in 2013 and The Lemon Tree in 2016. The years since have seen a sea change in musical direction, ignited by a move to Nashville for several months. This added a country music influence into Louise’s sound.

Since the beginning of 2019, the singer songwriter has released several singles and her debut album, achieving chart success including four number 1’s and more than five top tens on the iTunes Country Charts. 2022 live shows saw Louise supporting the likes of Tom Odell, Lucy Spraggan, The Cadillac Three and Lindsay Ell, to name a few.

2023 was set to be Louise’s biggest year yet when tragedy struck, Louise damaged her vocal cords. After several medical examinations, vocal therapy and 8 months of extensive rest, Louise is excitably (and slowly) easing herself back into performing.

“The time off has been challenging but I’ve got through by writing songs and looking forward to all the amazing shows I’m going to get to perform” – Louise Parker

Self-descriptive as ‘Taylor Swift-ing’ through life, Louise uses her writing to process emotion and real life hardships.  Through her writing, monthly live streams and touring, Louise has gained a following of over 25,000 fans online collectively and there seems to be no slowing down.
