Local artist Rebecca Poole is a highly acclaimed singer songwriter, previously performing under the artist name ‘Purdy’.
Rebecca has supported Jools Holland on tour including knock out performances at The Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium where she sang her self penned Remembrance song ‘This is the Song’ with the Central Band of the Royal Airforce. Rebecca has shared the stage with Jamie Cullum, Lana Del Rey, Simply Red and Mick Jagger.
Her unique dulcet tones landed her a part in the hit Netflix series The Crown, singing ‘Can’t take my eyes off you’. Her latest album ‘Dreamers Ball’ has garnered impressive reviews including Record of the Week on both BBC Sounds and Jazz Fm.
Rebecca is best known to Henley for her Purdy’s Pop Up Jazz Club, infectiously playful character, deep velvet vocals and choice variety of feel good swing and moody blues.
