Dr Beats

10:30 pm on Friday 11 Jul 25

On Friday 11th July, Dr Beats will be performing exclusively for Riverside Restaurant guests.

‘Doctor by day, DJ by night’: Oli ‘Dr Beats’ Maunsell discovered his passion for DJing at the age of 15, took a detour to become a doctor in his late twenties, and now sits at what he describes as ‘the perfect intersection of work and play’ by combining the two. But DJing is certainly no side hustle for this Henley-based doc, who is well accustomed to spinning perfect party tunes at a host of society events and establishments – from Cartier Polo to Annabel’s, Hurlingham to Koko, Goodwood to Boujis – as well as a private client list that reads like a Who’s Who of British glitterati.

Oli’s also the creator of OUTOUT which launches in Henley later this year. The concept, he says, is simple:  “To stage the occasional proper party for those primarily in their 30s and 40s who are desperate for an excuse to channel their former selves once in a while, but who are also rather keen to be back in bed by midnight” (as a nod to the often infant-shaped responsibilities this stage of life brings). Expect wild themes, nostalgic party tunes, and neon.
