Early RISErs is Henley Festival’s programme for local, young musicians and artists. In 2026, we showcased three bands and singer/songwriters playing their original music and covers on the RISE stage during Playdate @ Henley Festival.

RISE Young Artist Prize presented by Hemani

This year, Playdate also featured the first ever RISE Young Artist Prize presented by Hemani for 5–11-year-olds with the theme ‘My Favourite Place’. The winner had their work framed and displayed in the Ruby Gallery at Playdate alongside the finalists.
